Yorely (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a daily memories app that helps you revisit photos from this day in years past via links to your Google Photos library. Your privacy is important to us.
All data you enter in Yorely is stored only on your device. This includes:
We do not upload this data to our servers. Nothing you enter is sent to Yorely’s backend.
Yorely does not store, copy, or upload your photos. When you tap a “year ago” entry, the app opens the Google Photos app (or Google Photos on the web) to the relevant date. Any viewing or management of your photos happens in Google’s products and on your device under your Google account; we do not receive or process your photo content.
When you use Google Photos, Google’s terms and privacy policy apply to that service. We do not control Google’s practices.
If you enable daily reminders, we use your device’s local notification system to show reminders at the time you choose. This does not involve sending your profile data to our servers.
Android: The Android app may use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and limited technical information (such as device type and stack traces) to improve stability. That data is processed by Google under Firebase’s terms. It does not include your profile names, dates of birth, or other content you type into the app.
iOS: The iOS app may collect anonymous technical diagnostics, usage data, and device identifiers to improve app performance and stability. This data is used to understand app usage patterns and troubleshoot issues. It does not include your profile names, dates of birth, or other content you type into the app.
Because your Yorely data lives only on your device, you can remove it by deleting the app or clearing the app’s data from your device settings. Uninstalling the app removes the local profiles and preferences stored by Yorely on that device.
Yorely is designed for parents and caregivers to organize memories about family members, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the app in a way that would require parental consent under U.S. children’s privacy laws: the information you enter is stored locally on your device and is provided by you as the account holder or parent/guardian using the app.
If you choose to purchase a subscription or make an in-app purchase, your payment will be processed through your Apple ID account (for iOS) or Google Play account (for Android). Yorely does not receive or store your credit card details or payment information.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The last updated date (month, day, and year) at the top will be revised when we do. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
If you have questions about this privacy policy or Yorely’s practices, please contact us through the “Send Feedback” option in the app’s Settings.
